Oh, dear...

Is that really the time?

We totally had brownies, ice cream and hot fudge for dinner. It was so awesome, and so much fun.

Finally we are all 100%. It was a very rough weekend. The kids were so sick. I'm so happy that my house doesn't smell of vomit any more.

We watched the most awesome movie tonight. The NetherBeast Incorporated. Loved it! It stars Steve Burns from Blues Clues....<3>He's such a nerd. I think I have a crush on him. The movie ruled. I think we need to buy it.

We have a new addition to our family. It is a flea market find. And it is quite possibly the most hideous piece of awesomeness you have ever seen. A velvet painting of some random dude smoking a pipe. The frame is gorgeous. And so...as I lay in our comfy bed at night and look out into our living room, this is what I see...

Try and control yourself. I know you are green with envy...or is that nausea? So when Ryan found this gem at the flea market one of my first questions was, "Are we going to 'try' and sell this one Etsy?", and he said..."Fuck no, this is a family heirloom." Yeah...he's that awesome, and that's why I love him. He hearts the most random things. And I totally get it...because I get him. Most women would be like you are NEVER hanging that in our home. But...if he loves it, I can live with it. In fact, I am almost getting used to the old man. His eyes follow me around the room, as if to say...Be cool, every thing is going to be all right. And at night when I stumble through to get to the bathroom, as trying not to trip over toys...there he is watching me. Smirking as if to say...I'm witnessing every dorky thing you do. Maybe we'll make up some elaborate story to tell LuLu as she gets older...who the old man is. Why we have the painting...why do we have it? Nah...because no story could ever be as awesome as our real life. Word.

First of all - Love the art! My Uncle totally had a rubber mask that was THAT SAME GUY. He used to scare the crap out of us with it when we were kids. I can not remember his name right now. I will get back to you when I remember because that old guy NEEDS a name!
